Restoring Defaults
The steps below restore the DEFAULT settings for eValid. These are the settings that exist when eValid is first installed -- the "out of the box" set of values. Most of the Quick Steps sequences in this series assume you are starting with the DEFAULT settings.

Detailed Quick Steps
Follow these steps to restore the DEFAULT eValid settings.

  1. On the eValid browser face left click eValid: > Settings.

  2. Left click on General Preferences.

  3. On the lower right hand side of the settings display, left click on Profiles. This will bring up the Open/Save User Preferences Profile display.

  4. Check the box Open Profile. The display will change and Select Profile to Open will become active.

  5. Using the arrows in the Select Profile to Open window, choose the setting named DEFAULT. When you click it it will show as selected.

  6. Left click Apply. The DEFAULT settings will be applied and the Open/Save User Preferences Profile will disappear.

  7. Finally, click on Save if you want these settings to be remembered for future runs. Or, you can click on OK if you want these settings to be applied just for the current run. eValid Settings Menu will disappear.

The DEFAULT settings have now been applied to your eValid installation. These settings will remain in effect until you change them using the Settings pull-down.
